CheckmyAssessment.com was founded on the principle that the real estate revaluation process, in some instances, is unfair to the homeowner. Other than the notice of a new assessment, the homeowner is typically provided with no other information until several months later when the new (and higher) real estate taxes are levied by the town. At that time, it is too late for the homeowner to participate in the process or to challenge the assessment or the taxes. 

We were founded by homeowners who have successfully navigated the municipal assessment appeal process. Our staff is committed to assisting homeowners with the revaluation process.
